I love how they show that nice TV as if it is plugged in w/ "flatwire". But its not, you can see a regular plug in behind it. :-D Also I'm no expert but I'd bet money that wire is no where near invisible when painted.

I live in an apartment whereby I'm not allowed to run wiring under the walls. the only thing I can do is to run plastic conduit boxes everywhere. I agree that this is not likely to be completely invisible but it's be a lot better than plastic conduits.

Besides, who'd want to paint it? The copper strips look cool.

You dont have to destroy walls or anything to change wiring, you just fish it through. Working as an electricians apprentice I learned how to do it fairly fast. I can't imagine having to paint the walls everytime I buy an appliance or replace one, which is much more often then I would replace the actual wiring in the walls. I like that people are thinking of new ways, but this is just stupid.

by the way, 'ya accidentally misspelled "Self Adhesive" as "slef adesive" maybe on purpose?
