Not that I doubt you- but I'm having trouble reproducing. Were there any other circumstances that I'm missing?

Were you in a channel unsifted page?
Do you have your profile set up to filter out anything?
Did you have anything else ticked in the queue sort box?

I had the screwy Unsifted sort order too (it's been like that for many moons) but to try to assess the reproducibility for dag, I just switched to Best Votes-to-Views then back to Newest Queue Date and all of a sudden it's working!

So I'm guessing that it's an old cookie that's got some compatibility issues with the current system.

I know, right?? I thought it was top 15 material for sure, but so far it's only got three votes, so maybe it isn't quite as Earth-shatteringly awesome as I thought. I do have a soft spot for chimps, as you might imagine.

Anyway, I tried arvana's suggestion, and everything seems to be working fine now, so it looks like his cookie theory is correct.

This is the third post about this in as many weeks. As uhohzombies and myself previously pointed out, everything works fine if you click the go button on the unsifted page. But if you go to another page, and then click on the unsifted tab at the top, it reverts right back to some weird default (non)order, even though your checked selections remain.

Also, if you hide videos you have viewed, they do not remain hidden for more than a day. I think this is a separate problem, though, as that feature has never worked properly.

I think there is more to this than just a corrupted cookie. It went screwy when the new search was added along with some layout changes.
