I've got it set to list by newest queue date, and things are kind of funky. For one thing, I just submitted a couple of videos which should be on the first page but aren't (they're actually showing up on the fifth page, along with a few other videos which are only a few hours old). Things seem to in order for a few videos at a time, then suddenly there'll be newer videos, then older ones again. It's screwy. And I have evidence! I'm not completely crazy:
Here's the first page (excuse the shoddy image quality):

And here's the fifth page, where my videos currently reside, for some screwy reason:

So... what's the deal? What's the point in sifting awesome videos if they're just going to immediately get lost down siftbot's unforgiving maw?
EDIT:
Yes, I can assure you that I do have it set to list by newest queue date. And I have proof:

yea...try that and quit your monkey business
What? Am I the only person this is happening to? Is siftbot messing with me just for kicks? Does he have a problem with snappily-dressed chimps who like to shade their eyes from the sun?
You can't draw circles for shit.
Were you in a channel unsifted page?
Do you have your profile set up to filter out anything?
Did you have anything else ticked in the queue sort box?
Learn your motor skills, shakes!
It's called "manual dexterity", people.
So I'm guessing that it's an old cookie that's got some compatibility issues with the current system.
Then you can't draw ovals for shit. Learn your motor skills, shakes!
Whatya expect, he's a chimp! I think he's doing quite well!
It's a shame this had to happen to "Baby chimp plays a guys stomach like a bongo"
I know, right?? I thought it was top 15 material for sure, but so far it's only got three votes, so maybe it isn't quite as Earth-shatteringly awesome as I thought. I do have a soft spot for chimps, as you might imagine.
Anyway, I tried arvana's suggestion, and everything seems to be working fine now, so it looks like his cookie theory is correct.
Also, if you hide videos you have viewed, they do not remain hidden for more than a day. I think this is a separate problem, though, as that feature has never worked properly.
I think there is more to this than just a corrupted cookie. It went screwy when the new search was added along with some layout changes.
