Nice one! I was in Quetico Park in Canada week before last. Yours is as big as any thing I caught there, except for a couple of large Pike. Those Pike are vicious.

yes they are feisty little fish. This girl did not put up much of a fight though. Kind of strange for such a nice sized smallmouth.

What is Depression?

Thanks for posting. I wish he had also mentioned the difference between unipolar major depression and bipolar disorder. The depressive phases can be identical, but the treatment is often very different.
1 in 10 of women, and 1 in 20 of men will suffer a major depressive illness at some time in their life. It is a VERY common disorder, but diagnosis is often shrouded in the somatic complaints of headaches, back pain, lack of energy, etc. which are all real and not imagined.
When major depression strikes, you feel as if an alien has invaded your body and taken control. You look in the mirror and ask, "where did I go? Where's the real me?" The scary part is not knowing if you will return. Depression is scary.

Tiger Woods Can Walk on Water. He's Just That Good.

He took 3 strokes to get it in the hole. He should know better than to ground his club in a hazard. He tested the water behind his ball.....2 stroke penalty.

I could have taken my drop....1 stroke penalty and possibly got it up and down in 2 strokes. That would have been 3 strokes without walking on water. Although, sometimes I do walk on water in the winter. That's where the old spikes are better than these new soft spikes. They grab into the ice better.

I missed that development. When did that occur? I've read about artificial "cells" that are capable of single protein synthesis. That's a long way from a building a self-replicating, self-sustaining organism from scratch. I would think that sort of achievement would have made the newspaper. Then again, maybe not my local newspaper.
