Yeah, come on, you don't actually believe that's a-grade 100% real. He's probably quite a bit like that, in that he is an elitist prick to an extent, but he can probably laugh at that, and as such does these segments poking fun at his elitist snobbery.

He probably finds it hard not to laugh during these bits.
