The Vampire Sheriff Eric remembers when he was turned over several hundred years ago at his Death Bed by the vampire Godric. From the HBO show True Blood.

Godric is a 2,000 year old vampire who looks no older than a teenager. It is revealed that he is the oldest vampire in the New World. He has tattoos from Roman times. He goes missing, prompting Eric to send Sookie and Bill to the Dallas area to look for him or find out what happened to him. Godric is the "maker" of Eric. He has been kidnapped by the Fellowship of the Sun, and his disappearance prompts Bill, Sookie and Jessica to travel to Dallas to find him.
